Overview

Endurance Prep helps users build walking, hiking, and endurance plans, complete guided sessions, track progress, and optionally sync account data across devices.

What data we collect and store

• Account information: email address used to sign in.
• Profile and plan details: training preferences, goal type, target distance, pace, pack target, event date, support areas, coaching style, and reminder settings.
• Training history: completed sessions, time taken, distance, effort feedback, soreness feedback, and related progress summaries.
• Community content: posts, cheers, suggestions, and similar in-app community activity when those features are used.

Location and activity data

During tracked hike or walk sessions, Endurance Prep may request location and physical activity permissions so it can show live route, distance, pace, hills, and step-based progress.

• Background location is used only during active user-started tracked sessions so recording can continue when the phone is locked or the app is minimized.
• Physical activity access is used for step and movement totals that support progress tracking.

Heart rate and health data

Endurance Prep can read heart rate from supported health sources such as Health Connect when you choose to connect that feature. Heart-rate data is used to display workout heart-rate details during sessions.

Cloud services

Endurance Prep uses Firebase services for:

• Authentication
• Cloud Firestore sync for account data and training history

Ads and purchases

Endurance Prep may show ads or rewarded ads in some free-user flows and may offer premium or ad-free access through Google Play Billing.

Data sharing

Community posts are visible to signed-in users inside the app. Profile data, plan data, and training logs are intended to remain tied to the account that created them.

You can delete your Endurance Prep account inside the app, or request deletion through the public account deletion page: Endurance Prep Account Deletion.
